Hoteliers must reconsider their online booking presence as mobile devices proliferate

The dominant trend in hotel online bookings during 2014 was the burgeoning usage of mobile devices to access websites and booking engines. In the spring of 2014, Google commissioned a survey of 3.500 of Americans and found that 40% of respondents had booked travel on mobile devices, while only 12% had used a desktop or laptop.
